Mike’s Sky Rancho, a hotel since 1967, caters to outdoor enthusiasts and relaxation seekers. Nestled in the Arroyo San Rafael Mountains near Ensenada, Mexico, it borders San Pedro Martir National Park. Guests enjoy nearby hiking and off-road trails, park exploration, and horseback riding.
Mike Leon, a former SCORE racing champion (Baja 1000 & 500 winner), founded Mike’s Sky Rancho in Baja California’s mountains. His family, originally from Jalisco, Mexico, owned bars in Tijuana. Seeking a change, Leon purchased this land in 1967. The hotel became a haven for hunters, fishermen, and off-road enthusiasts, many considering it a home away from home.
